About Us,Instructor: Keri Rieger
Hello everyone, My name is Keri Rieger and I am the owner and teacher for Creative Beginnings Preschool. I am a wife and mother of two children, Karyss and Jasper. We moved to White City in the fall of 2011 so our daughter could start Kindergarten at Ecole White City School. We love living in our amazing community and I always enjoy meeting the wonderful people who also live here! I attained my Bachelor of Education Degree in 2005 and have taught in both the Regina Public School Division and Prairie Valley School Division. In my teaching career I have enjoyed teaching many grade levels, however, it was my experience as a childcare provider that showed me my true love is working with, and teaching, preschoolers. Prior to my teaching career I was a professional figure skating coach. I taught individuals from age 2 to 52! During my career, I coached many grassroot programs, as well as, provincial and national competitors. Nowadays, I am fulfilling my love of skating by coaching a couple days a week with our local skating club. Hope to see you there too:)! I am excited to be able to work with the little people in our community and be one of the first individuals to guide them into a world of fun and adventurous learning! I offer a warm and welcoming space for your children to learn. We are located in Ecole White City School. Please visit us on Facebook and Instagram under Creative Beginnings Preschool White City for extra tidbits and photos of our space! |
Our Philosophy |
I am very passionate about creating a positive first learning school experience
for young children! I feel it is vital to create a nurturing environment that enables each child to be comfortable and confident in attending school. A constructive preschool learning experience can cultivate a positive self-esteem while children work and play to figure out who they are and how they fit into the world. Learning to: socialize, play cooperatively and use independent problem solving skills are vital to a child’s transition into Kindergarten. Together we will initiate positive socialization and self-confidence through stories, songs, art, sensory play, music and movement, learning, and free play. |
